Smith & McKenzie Steak House makes booking easy.

Bookings up to 14 guests can be made quickly online — perfect for date nights, family dinners, celebrations, or catching up with friends.

 

Large Bookings:

For groups of 15 or more, simply email us at functions@smithandmckenzie.co.nz  and we will guide you through our large group dining options. Our streamlined large booking process is designed to make organising group dinners simple, stress-free, and enjoyable, with less hassle and more time to focus on having a great night.

Tuesday Quiz Nights:

Every Tuesday from 6:30pm, join us for our weekly Quiz Night at Smith & McKenzie Steak House. We take bookings in both the Chophouse Bar and our all-weather Garden Bar. If one space is full, be sure to check the Garden Bar — there’s often extra room and it’s the perfect spot for a fun, lively night out.

Signature Steak Pre-Orders:

Our signature steaks are one of the highlights of the menu. Due to their size and preparation, these require 24 hours’ notice along with a $30 pre-authorisation at the time of booking. Please note these steaks cannot be prepared without pre-authorisation, and same-day cancellations will incur a $30 cancellation fee. 

 

Celebration Cakes:

Celebrating something special? You are welcome to bring your own celebration cake, with a $30 cakeage fee applying.

We also offer a range of private spaces ideal for birthdays, corporate functions, Christmas parties, weddings, and special events, including our whisky lounge-inspired McKenzie Room, our all-season Garden Bar, and our amazing Chef’s Table experience.
